Supper clubs may be perched on the fringe of the London Foodie scene like a well kept secret and underground club, but The London Foodie Supper Club sits well and truly near the core. The popular events hosted by Luiz Hara, who trained at Le Cordon Bleu, offer Japanese home cooking right from his incredibly stylish North London home.
Luiz oozes passion for food, and now makes a habit of regularly opening his home to cook for strangers. The cuisine is rustic Japanese home cooking with a modern European twist. Highlights on the menu include silken tofu and century eggs, sashimi, Japanese hot pot and slow cooked pork belly and tamagoyaki. Luiz also collaborates with Japanese Street Food vendors PomPom, so expect some ace takoyaki.
