What better way to celebrate National Pisco Sour Day on the 1st of February, than by enjoying the famous cocktail at Chotto Matte Soho.
Using Pisco, a traditional, clear Peruvian brandy made from distilled grape juice, the Pisco Sour also includes lime juice, egg white and sugar syrup, shaken together with ice with a few drops of bitters on top to achieve a frothy, sharp yet sweet drink. The cocktail originated in Lima, Peru and was invented by Victor Vaughen Morris an American bartender in the early 1920s.
