Ruski’s Caviar & Vodka Tavern is brought to you by night life entrepreneurs Diego Bivero-Volpe and Antoin Commane (previous night life endeavours include The Brompton Club and MIC fav Bodo's Schloss), a playground of delights paying homage to Russia’s rich history and legendary hospitality.
Inspired by an incredible century of Tsarist reign, Imperialism and Communism, with a nod to the Soviet era, you will be immediately transported to a Tsar’s Tavern in early 1533. Expect no less than the largest collection of vodka in London from this tongue-in-cheek establishment, creative cocktails, lashings of caviar and tasty food.
Consultant Chef, Scott Hallsworth, ex head chef of Nobu, is creating the menus where caviar and chips will sit next to plates of the finest smoked salmon and steak tartare with caviar club sandwiches and of course, lashings of vodka. At the end of the night, guests reeling from an evening of extravagance can experience Russia's ultimate hangover cure – a black bread, steak tartare and caviar-layered sandwich – gluttony and practicality all rolled into one. Matryoshka dolls (Russian nesting dolls) will serve as patriotic drinking vessels and samovars, large tea urns, are used for sharing cocktails. Enjoy a long drink entitled “Tolstoy”, served in a flask hidden inside an antique copy of War and Peace.
